Don’t Judge a Dish by Its Menu Description!

So back in November, I went to Chicago for work. I stopped at a little restaurant called The Purple Pig, with my coworker. I wasn’t starving, but I wanted an appetizer, and I was apparently feeling really adventurous, because I ordered this dish! It was the most interesting combination ever, and I was skeptical, but let me tell you, these chefs must be geniuses.

This dish is made up of beets, goat cheese, pistachios, and a drizzle of peanut butter. All 4 ingredients complimented each other so well. I definitely recommend this restaurant and this appetizer if you ever find yourself in Chicago looking for a new restaurant to try!
